POSITION:   Student Life Associate (PT)

Effective immediately: (PT) Student Life Associate, Student Life Department, Wilmington University.

Requirements: An Associate’s degree is required. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Should have the ability to multi-task, work independently, and be creative/innovative. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products and Photoshop. Must demonstrate respect for diversity in the workplace and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees. Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in any situation is a must.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):     
•    Plan student activities and programs relating to leadership and civic engagement (i.e. service-learning projects, cultural awareness programs, leadership development, bus trips) that will promote student learning, personal growth, and development.
•    Assist in planning student activities and other functions supporting Student Life at all University sites including coordinating entertainment, marketing/advertising, operations, and assessment/evaluation.
•    Coordinate all tasks associated with these activities and programs such as marketing/advertising, operations, assessment/evaluation, and supervising activity/program.
•    Assist with asynchronous student activities and programs, including managing Social Media platforms that represent the Student Life department. 
•    Perform administrative duties which may be assigned.
•    Promote and foster an inclusive and diverse environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
•    Perform other duties which may be assigned by the Director of Student Life. 

Hours of Employment:  Generally, Monday – Friday, 29 hours per week between the hours of 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Incumbent may be asked to be flexible with hours and/or schedule to meet the needs of the department and/or University. Some nights and/or weekends and travel will be required.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
