Forensic Biology and Biotechnology

There are openings for adjunct faculty to teach Forensic Biology courses and Biotechnology courses face-to-face in the classroom at the University's Brandywine Location in North Wilmington, DE. Courses will meet one day per week for 2.5 (without lab) or 4 hours (with lab courses) and will be held in the evenings.

The College of Health Professions and Natural Sciences has offered innovative, career-oriented educational programs to meet the diverse needs of local, national, and international communities. We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing, health sciences, and natural sciences; a doctoral degree in nursing practice; as well as several undergraduate and graduate certificates. Courses are offered online, hybrid, online live, and face to face. Our scholar-practitioner faculty foster a community of excellence, respecting the diverse backgrounds, abilities, and experiences of students. We serve both traditional undergraduate students and working professionals, allowing students to balance work, personal, and educational commitments.
Requirements:
Applicants must be able to teach in the classroom only at the University's Brandywine (Delaware) location. Adjunct teaching applicants are required to have a Master's degree in a related field, from an accredited institution, with a doctorate degree preferred. Applicants are expected to have strong communications skills, and have 3-5 years of work experience in the discipline in which they expect to teach. Experience teaching at the post-secondary education level is preferred. and:
