Program Overview:

Applied Technology (undergraduate program) is a flexible STEM degree offering a broad technology base. It is designed for students who want to develop through selected technology pathways and/or in combination with multiple disciplines. This program provides students with foundational skills in information assurance, process management, information systems, multimedia production, software applications, technology language, and design. The goal is to build credentials through a general education foundation and technology course requirements for starting careers in business and technology.

Information Systems Management (undergraduate program) provides a solid knowledge foundation and meaningful experiences to prepare IT leaders for today's technology-driven business environment. The program focuses on developing professionals who understand current business processes, business intelligence, data warehousing, and information technology applications that can be applied across various organizational settings. Students learn to manage complex projects from inception to completion, including business process analysis and IT strategy development. The curriculum closely aligns with business practices, ensuring all courses involve hands-on assignments that bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Both programs emphasize hands-on learning, practical application, and preparing students for real-world technology careers.  Faculty members are expected to bring their professional experience into the classroom and maintain currency with evolving technology trends.
