The innovation program @ AAA Washington is an internal innovation research and incubator group that assesses investment opportunities and guides the implementation of select innovations that range from opportunities that strengthen our core offerings to new ventures that deliver transformational products or services in entirely new markets that our members will love.

As our Innovation Program Manager, you will support the Innovation & New Ventures team with all aspects of promoting and accelerating innovation at AAA Washington. They will play a vital role supporting the various activities required to research innovation opportunities, execute and manage pilots, and planning for the transition of new products, programs or services into our established business operations.

You’ll have an opportunity to work across the business – spanning product lines, functional teams and senior leadership.

This is an immersive role – you’ll help us source build and manage our portfolio of innovation opportunities, guide innovation relationships, contribute to creation of innovation business cases, and assist in providing project planning and coordination vital to onboarding new programs, products and services into our business.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated grasp of the fundamentals of venture investments and deal structure.
  • Experience evaluating marketplace and new venture opportunities & developing and presenting business cases to decision makers.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for entrepreneurship with excellent writing and financial analysis background.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with digital platforms, agile delivery, and technical product management.
  • Analytical skill and ability to interpret data and provide relevant recommendations
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships.

Position is Hybrid, onsite and remote
