Senior Manager, Membership Strategy & Growth

Become the leader you’ve always wanted at AAA!  Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in supervisory or management role.

In this role, you will be responsible for membership program management, product management, and the financial performance of our offerings. In addition, they will have oversight of acquisition, retention, and engagement of the membership base through lifecycle marketing initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Collaborate across the organization with departmental leaders to implement member experience projects that drive revenue and retention.

·       Responsible for strategically driving customer journey mapping, partnerships, and digital marketing through CRM.

·       Responsible for creating strategy for meeting new member growth, renewal rates and premium product penetration.

·       Manage Discounts & Rewards program, Visa product partnership, and other membership-centric revenue programs.

·       Assists with creation of financial models to support revenue goals for membership programs and products.

·       Develop offline and online campaigns for new member acquisition, such as media buys, direct mail, offers & promotions working in partnership with Growth Marketing Manager.

·       Gather, analyze, and apply information about members, nonmembers, and competition to leverage opportunities and evolve programs, products, and services.

·       Oversee production of monthly membership reports.

·       Responsible for researching and then applying best practices on member engagement from across the AAA national organization and vendors.

·         Works with the digital services team to create innovative member solutions to achieve aggressive online growth plans through omni-channel initiatives.

·        Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.

·       Incorporates AAA’s vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA’s vision mission and values.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Provide direct management to the product marketing and digital marketing leaders.

·       Responsible for developing people, improving processes, reducing costs, monitoring quality, delivering results against established objectives, and ensuring a high level of service to internal and external customers.

·       Manages assigned employees by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing employee job contributions; maintaining compensation, resolving problems and implementing change.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor’s degree (BA) in marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience

·       6+ years’ experience in product or digital marketing

·       5+ years’ experience in supervisory or management role 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Master’s degree in marketing or business or related field

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·       Hybrid work from home and office required

·       The physical environment is typical of a standard office space.  It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work.  Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.

 

Target hiring salary range is $103,800 to $145,300 and offer rate is based on candidate experience.
