ECS is seeking a Senior Action Officer (DARPA) to work in our Arlington, VA office.  Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

 

Job Description:

Anticipate start is early May 2024.

 

ECS is preparing to provide critical support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DAPRA), specifically to the Director's Office (DIRO).   Come join our team to help maintain the technological superiority of the U.S. military.

 

This billet is in direct support of the DARPA Front Office.  Candidate needs to provide the highest level of professional support.

 

Duties could include providing the custom:

  • Developing, organizing, forecasting, and maintaining financial budgets and tracking financial milestones;
  • Creating and coordinating budget and, acquisition documents;
  • Organizing meetings;
  • Developing briefings to technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Interacting with multiple internal and external personnel with excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills on a daily basis.

 

 

Required Skills:

  • Active DoD security clearance required.
  • US Citizenship required per contract.
  • 10+ Years experience supporting programs.
  • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, professionalism, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving financial, business, administrative, or program management problems.
  • Experienced with DoD policies and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests
  • Must have good rapport at dealing with the public, customer service expertise, excellent oral/written communication skills, and excellent organizational & time-management skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience preferably in an R&D environment.
  • DoD experience highly desirable.
  • 5+ years working with DARPA is highly desirable.
