ECS is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (Biometrics) to work in our Washington, DC office.

 

Job Description:

ECS is seeking an ICAM  provide advice, guidance and support for the USPS Biometrics Program.  Responsible for helping USPS Corporate Information Security Office (CISO) Digital Integration (DI) Team partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cutting edge biometrics technology and capabilities across the enterprise.  This position will develop and advise on strategies, technologies, systems integration,  tactics, and plans while providing a full spectrum of support for biometric implementation activities.

 

Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000

General Description of Benefits

 

Required Skills:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 6+ years of managing large-scale technical implementation projects
  • 4+ years of experience in developing integrated project plans, business cases, inclusive of the development and quantification of courses of action, evaluation criteria, scoring methods, lifecycle cost analysis, and performance of Analysis of Alternatives
  • 6+ years of experience with developing risk plans, mitigation strategies, stakeholder registers, project schedules, and for large projects or programs
  • 6+ years of experience leading large technology teams that include a mix of different vendors, with both direct and in-direct reports
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ICAM principles and concepts
  • Ability to track multiple component projects and requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Experience implementing biometric technology to large and diverse enterprises, inclusive of how different types of systems and capabilities are rolled out
  • Proven experience in biometric stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in working with distributed teams
  • Experience with development of biometric systems or platform environments, including activity and service models and security and performance architectures
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts, including a history of self-teaching and learning through doing
  • Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML)

 

Desired Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of the Identity Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) community and future technology state.
  • 4+ years of supporting senior leaders in government organizations.
