Job Description:

ECS is seeking an Imagery Analyst - Journeyman to work in our McLean, VA office.

Hiring for this position is contingent upon acceptance by the government customer, validation of appropriate clearances, and approval from a cognizant government contracting officer.  Individuals will be submitted for Full Scope Polygraph after customer indoctrination and must successfully obtain and maintain the appropriate level security clearance for continued employment.

The candidate shall provide the following:

  • Provide imagery analysis support for customer current intelligence production.
  • Report project status, update findings, clarify analysis requirements and essential elements of information.
  • Verify required analysis periodicity and reporting threshold.
  • Task collection to support analysis projects.
  • Produce imagery remarks, briefings, graphics, and other written reports as directed by the Task Monitor.
  • Publish formal imagery analysis reporting using the GEOINT Enterprise TPED Services (GETS) system or other system directed by the Task Monitor using Sponsor templates and style guidelines as directed by the Task Monitor.
  • Collaborate with SCAMC officers as directed by the Task Monitor to report project status, update findings, clarify analysis requirements and essential elements of information, verify required analysis periodicity and reporting threshold, attend meetings, and work to maximize value to SCAMC’s mission.
  • Coordinate with collection teams to task collection of imagery to support analysis projects, to include historical analysis and historical imagery.
  • Participate in daily and department meetings to discuss military developments in India and Pakistan. In addition to daily morning meetings, the Contractor shall be available for routine dialogue with all-source issue analysts throughout each day.
  • Participate in ad-hoc analytic meetings with issue analysts and outside Intelligence Community analysts as appropriate to discuss trends in the respective military services, help sift through data and formulate theories, informal written products, or tabletop briefings, and identify key trends, developments, and constructions that affect US interests.
  • Regularly communicate with appropriate NGA teams to collaborate on analytic topics and deconflict analysis to minimize duplicative imagery analysis across the IC.
  • Provide formal imagery analysis reporting using the GEOINT Enterprise TPED Services (GETS system) or other system directed by the manager using templates developed by SCAMC and style guidelines as directed by the Task Monitor.
  • Produce imagery remarks, briefings, graphics, and other written reports as directed by the Task Monitor.

 

Required Skills:

  • An existing and active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing satellite imagery, NTM and commercial.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex imagery analysis and to communicate its results using accurate, concise, and effective writing and through descriptive and graphical representations.
  • Demonstrated experience using RemoteView and Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and creative problem solving and independent working skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations, to include varying levels and types (Government, industry, and academia).
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing satellite or airborne imagery, defined as high-resolution still images equivalent to those captured by National Technical Means.
  • Imagery analytic skills and knowledge of electronic light table applications and data discovery tools, to include but not limited to Remove View and Cedalion.
  • Analytic background on military forces structure and operations.
  • Demonstrated analytic writing and critical thinking skills.

 

Desired Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Academic or professional background in South Asia or military studies.
  • Previous Intelligence Community experience.
  • GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC-F).
  • Imagery Analysis PL-II Certification.
  • Knowledge of the Agency Data Services Network (ADSN), iCE workstations, and the Agency Internet Network (AIN); and a demonstrated ability to learn to use and support other tools that may be added or developed as the program evolves.
  • Demonstrated experience using ArcMap.
