ECS is seeking a Program Manager to work in our Arlington, VA office.  Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

 

Job Description:

ECS is seeking a communicative, and enthusiastic Program Manager to join our team. As a Program Manager, you will be required to interface with customers, act as Scrum Master for a technical team, and ensure successful solution delivery. You will also support the team by gathering business requirements, creating process flows, and developing plans and strategies for solution delivery.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Manage communications with the customer and the team.
    • Manage client interaction and expectations regarding team efforts.
    • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, develop and deepen long-lasting client relationships.
  • Ensure successful solution delivery.
    • Act as Scrum Master, leading the Scrum team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices.
    • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope.
    • Maintain responsibility for the delivery of work products.
    • Oversee implementation of standardized processes and deliverables.
    • Build a knowledge base of client's business, systems, and objectives.
  • Manage project and contract administration, with timeliness and accuracy.
    • Establish and monitor schedules and identify resource needs.
    • Identify, analyze, and track risks, communicating statuses, and escalating concerns when needed.
    • Perform administrative tasks, such as, approving timesheets, and creating contract deliverables.
  • Support business analysis function.
    • Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
    • Represent the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments.
    • Coordinate with business and technology teams ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions and output requirements.
    • Facilitate the development and documentation of end-to-end business processes and associated performance measures.
    • Present business and technical requirements for review and approval.

 

Required Skills:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance.
  • 7+ years project management experience.

 

Desired Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience working with a federal customer.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Demonstrates strong client interfacing skills: a positive attitude, highly motivated, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical skills and business presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience capturing customer requirements, ensuring the team understands requirements and that the product is delivered successfully.
  • Detail orientated, regarding logistics and reporting.
  • Scrum Master certification.
