ECS is seeking a Supervisor for our USPS customer to work in our Memphis, TN office. 

Job Description:

ECS is looking for a Supervisor tasked with supervising the accounts receivable staff, collecting the revenue generated by processing all invoices and orders, resolving late, skipped, or misapplied payments, and updating financial records. Heavy focus on revenue tracking and reporting. You will also oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic goals of the accounts receivable cycle through management, maintenance, implementation, and design of all accounts receivable business procedures and functions for the entire accounts receivable collection process. 
The following is a summary of the main responsibilities of the Account Receivable Supervisor as well as establishing governance policies for handling of incoming credit card payments and invoicing.  Additional duties may be assigned through project work, auditing, or additional oversight of programs:

  • Prepare and submit reporting analyzing revenue, volumes, and trends required by USPS Enterprise Analytics Finance team of USPS products and services. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and reports
  • Update receivables by monitoring and coordinating all processing performed on orders that are delivered daily including transactions such as bank remittances
  • Supervision and training of local team support all areas of accounts receivables and revenue recognition 
  • Ability to interact with staff, customers, colleagues in a professional demeanor following through with requests. Provides outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers based on timely, accurate and professional feedback to appropriate questions relative to assigned duties.
  • Thorough understanding of financial governance process development and implementation. 
  • Attention to detail on instructions with team members and colleagues.
  • Lead process improvement opportunities and implements recommended solutions.

Required Skills:

  • US Citizen or Green card holder and must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • BS in Finance or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • 5 years of Accounts Receivables Supervisory experience including supervision of credit card payment processing
  • 5 years of General Supervisory experience including inventory, asset management and administrative support
  • High proficiency with MS Excel as well as Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to exhibit composure, patience, and confidence when facing difficult situations
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities
  • Expertise with various types of accounting software platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly skilled and proficient at verifying financial or transactional data

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledgeable Sage 100, Oracle, payment processing systems
