ECS is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst/Team Lead for our USPS customer to work in our Memphis, TN office. 


  • Handles multiple ad hoc projects and processes check and credit card payments. 
  • Interact with both internal and external customers regarding orders, payments, and account status. Maintain and upload daily revenue to headquarters. 
  • Responsible for collections aging report. 
  • Acts as Team Lead.
  • Provide guidance and support to accounting team.
  • Provide accounting solutions to team and management.
  • Provide leadership support to Accounting Supervisor.
  • Assist in gathering financial information and writing disclosures including footnotes
  • Research new and proposed accounting standards and assist in determining how the company will account for and disclose these standards
  • Research accounting issues and other transaction throughout the company and assist in guiding the proper accounting treatment
  • Interact with senior financial management and  non-financial executives in other departments
  • Interact with external auditors during the year-end audit and quarterly reviews
  • Process invoice, account payable and receivable
  • Process bank reconciliation and journal entries
  • Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statement or other financial reports

Required Skills:

  • Must be US citizen or Green Card Holder and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-4 years of experience in the accounting/finance related field.
  • High proficiency in computer skills required, specifically Excel. Interpersonal and professional oral and written communication skills required. 
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. 
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks. 
  • Works under general supervision. 
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in the accounting/finance related field.
