ECS is seeking an Infrastructure Planner / Relocation Specialist to work in our Crystal City, VA office.  

 

Job Description:

Lead the development of client facilities and infrastructure requirements throughout the life cycle via creative approaches which achieve desired functional end-states. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems based on advanced principles within the facilities industry. Develop plans and manage coordination for effective project delivery. Identify and inventory all necessary materials for ordering. Build and maintain an integrated project schedule for renovation execution and keep accurate records of all units and items utilized for each. Consult with customers to determine the functional and spatial requirements of a new structure or renovation. Provide documentation support for shipping, receiving, and installation of material/equipment. Apply expertise in technical work, develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

 

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in managing infrastructure requirements for a major renovation and/or relocation project.
  • Experience performing architectural surveys, collecting requirements, and interfacing with project managers, building maintenance contractors, or general contractors.
  • Experience assisting with design reviews of projects.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently with minimal direct oversight.
  • Ability to communicate well at all organizational levels.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Prior military experience.
  • Knowledge of DoD organizations, culture, and processes.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
