ECS is seeking a .NET Developer to work in our Hill Air Force Base, UT office.

Job Description:

  • Designs, develops, and tests automated program management systems in response to identified requirements. 
  • Assists team in defining and reviewing system requirements. Develops or modifies and tests specific applications and system interfaces that are integrated in both SQL Server and Oracle DBMS environments. Writes system documentation. 
  • With little to no supervision, demonstrated ability to convert Classic.ASP web pages into ASP.NET application using both MVC and Web API 2. Provides training on new applications as required.
  • Application follows DoD cyber security guidelines as outlined in the STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) from the Department of Defense.
  • Up to 100% remote work allowed.

Required Skills:

  • US Citizen.
  • Public Trust Clearance.
  • 4 year degree or equivalent job experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio with C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, MVC, LINQ, and LINQ Lambda required.
  • Must have strong JavaScript (with or without jQuery) skills including AJAX, JSON, and their interface with server side via requests and responses.
  • 3-5 years’ experience of development and maintenance of web applications interfacing with either Oracle or SQL Server databases.
  • Must have strong understanding of database structures and be proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL).  Needs to be able to create, maintain, and debug complex queries.
  • Must have experience working with source control tools.
  • Candidate must be flexible and able to work in a team environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Entity Framework and/or other ORM tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with design patterns, n-tier architectures, MVC, Web API, dependency injection, and Agile methodologies.
  • Current certification in Security+, CASP, CISM, or CISSP.
  • Understanding and commitment to SOLID principles.
  • Knowledge and experience working with packages is desired.
  • Bootstrap experience is desired.
