ECS is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to work in our Springfield, VA office.  Please Note: This position is contingent upon [contract award OR additional funding].

Job Description:

ECS is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to work in our Springfield, VA office. 

This offer is contingent upon contract award and acceptance by the government customer, validation of appropriate clearances, and approval from a cognizant government contracting officer. After customer indoctrination, the candidate will be submitted for a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

This position requires knowledge and understanding of NSG architecture, NGA infrastructure, and the integration of commercial vendors and products in support of NSG customers. The scope will include coordinating between domestic and commercial suppliers, and the program offices to enable the smooth integration of new data sources as they become available.  The position will serve as a technical subject matter expert on commercial data and its integration to make recommendations to optimize data access and visibility by customers and problem solve as needed.  

• Experience with Python scripting for data cleaning and preprocessing. 
• Experience with spatial data file formats and data type conversions (i.e. TIF, GeoJson, CSV, Raster).
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment while multi-tasking.
• Highly skilled and effective communicator.
• Experienced with intelligence operations focusing on the TCPED (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination) process.

Required Skills:

• Must have an Active/current TS/SCI minimum clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph is required.
• Understanding of AWS cloud architecture to implement cloud-based storage systems in a classified/unclassified environment.
• Experience with Python scripting for data cleaning and preprocessing. 
• Experience with spatial data file formats and data type conversions (i.e. TIF, GeoJson, CSV, Raster).
• Experience with implementing a test and evaluation (T&E) plan for data onboarding and data migration.
• Experience with database management in a classified/unclassified environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with system engineers, program managers, and data providers.

Desired Skills:

• College-educated B.S. in Computer Science or other STEM discipline.
• Understanding of AWS cloud architecture to implement cloud-based storage systems in a classified/unclassified environment.
• Knowledge of object detection datasets from Computer Vision algorithms.
• Knowledge of data analytics software platform(s) to improve analytic workflows (i.e. Brewlytics).
• Experience working cross-functionally with system engineers, program managers, and data providers.
