Job Summary:

The Clinical Implementation Specialist is responsible for the overall success of inventory distribution as well as assisting with clinical user training and support during the implementation of Masimo products and solutions

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implementation preparation and organization.
  • Helps coordinate the equipment needs of the implementations with Project Management.
  • Help identify specific needs of the Customer before, during and after implementation; Identify problems and assist in providing solutions.
  • Inventory Control of devices & equipment during all phases of go-live per Masimo’s procedures and clinical best practices.
  • Unboxing product, staging, and inventory review of Masimo products.
  • Equipment assembly and bracketing.
  • Software upgrade, configuration and/or enablement for Masimo and OEM partner devices.
  • Management and tracking of devices and equipment.
  • Transporting products from a staging area to the identified clinical care units.
  • End-user education based on Masimo’s implementation procedures and clinical education best practices.
  • Decommissioning of Customer equipment.
  • Logistical control of unused and decommissioned equipment.
  • The ability to work independently or collectively with multiple teams to complete implementation requirements.
  • Maintain a professional image for Masimo by being reliable, polite, have a neat appearance and well-spoken 100% of the time with Customers and co-workers.
  • Performs special projects or additional duties as requested.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be PC literate, ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time.
  • Valid driver license is required
  • 2 years’ experience in the medical field.
  • Registered Nurse, Certified Respiratory Therapist, Registered Respiratory Therapist, EMT, Paramedic, Anesthesia Tech or other health care related field.

                                                                                                                  
Education:

  • Clinical credentials required.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works outside of a traditional office environment, making frequent Customer contact on a daily basis. It requires frequent sitting, standing, walking and lifting (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds).  Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.  May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.  Must be able to travel extensively domestically via airplane or driving a vehicle to designated Customer site, Must have a valid Driver’s license with a driving record that meets company’s insurance requirements.
