Summary
The MIL Corporation is seeking a National Travel Support Team Analyst (Accounting Clerk II) to support a Federal Government client in NAS Patuxent River, MD.
This position is with the Central Travel Agency (CTA) and will provide direct application support for the Defense Travel System and its user community.
This position currently requires a full-time on-site schedule with 5 days on-site and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Teleworking is not available. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
This position is not eligible for The MIL Referral Bonus program.
Responsibilities
Provide direct application and travel administration support for the Defense Travel System and its user community.
Provide personalized assistance to customers, managing time-sensitive and high-pressure travel arrangements, resolving system issues, and ensuring strict compliance.
Demonstrate adaptability and multitasking skills to accommodate different scenarios and customer preferences.
Walk users through document processing steps and provide basic troubleshooting assistance.
Provide guidance related to business rules and JTR compliance.
Utilize the NHDSM call logging system to receive trouble calls, record documents reviewed, adjustments made, and contact made with travelers or travel preparers.
Review documents using the Defense Travel System (DTS) to verify travel orders are in compliance with JTR/JFTR regulations and Command directives.
When necessary, make limited adjustments to travel authorizations or vouchers, and/or contact travelers or travel preparers by telephone to gather further information or resolve more complex issues.

Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in a customer service and/or business-oriented position
Ability to multitask and adapt to different scenarios and customer personalities as necessary
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work scheduled hours consistently
Ability to work until 5:00pm
Good verbal and written communication skills
Great attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to follow directions

Compensation
The SCA (Service Contract Act) role at The MIL Corporation is subject to the regulations and guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Labor. As an SCA position, it is classified as a service contract and is subject to specific wage determinations and benefit requirements mandated by the government.
The compensation and benefits for the SCA role at The MIL Corporation will be in accordance with the prevailing wage rates and benefits specified by the Department of Labor for the specific job classification and location. The current rate is $20.38 - $21.89 per hour. Final salary for this position is determined based on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, and contractual limitations.
