Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Senior Logistician (Logistics, Senior Associate) to provide on-site support to the Department of the Navy and life-cycle logistics for the acquisition of technologies and systems used for naval aviation.  All work will be done on-site at Webster Field Outlying Field, St. Inigoes, MD.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.  

Responsibilities

  • Perform logistics management operations that involve the planning, coordination and evaluation of logistical actions required to support a specified mission, surveillance system, communication system, or other designated program.
  • Develop life cycle logistics policies and procedures.
  • Review and develop Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program plans.
  • Conduct analysis of systems acquisition requirements.
  • Review budgetary or financial data in support of life cycle cost analysis, and the planning and execution of all logistics related activities.
  • Coordinate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and develop/adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years’ experience of progressive DoD/military or other government agency's Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities
  • Ability to assess and analyze the ongoing logistical functions of a firm or organization
  • Knowledge of the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources
  • Familiarity with acquisition life cycle logistic requirements for hardware and software associated with naval aviation communications systems
  • Experience working at a customer site or government facility
  • Experience in developing a Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and reporting requirements
  • Experience in system sparing analysis and supply chain management
  • Experience in DoD aviation maintenance planning
  • Ability to successfully complete a DoD background investigation

Desired Qualifications

  • 15 years’ experience of progressive DoD/military or other government agency's Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities
  • Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certification
  • Proficiency in LORA software suites e.g. Compass, EDCAS
  • Experience with management of ILS Program activities in support of hardware and software equipment and materials used in naval aviation surveillance and communications systems
  • Experience working full-time at a government customer site or facility
  • Have successfully completed a DoD background investigation

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or applicable technical discipline; Master’s degree in business, Logistics or applicable technical discipline is desired. Six (6) years of work experience related to the position, or an Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

Clearance

For this position, the projected compensation range is $115,000 - $130,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
