Brainstorm Creative Resources is supporting a global membership organization with headquarters offices in Bethesda, MD, that serves treasury and finance professionals. They are looking to engage an experienced, professional Graphic Designer with demonstrable static online ad design experience, in a part-time, work from home role that will span at least four months, and might offer work for up to eight months. 

This role will offer a guaranteed workload of 20 - 25 hours/week between April and July. Work may continue through August, September, October and November as well -- but we cannot make a comittment at this time. As of mid-July, the organization will be regularly evaluating their projected future workload and making decisions regarding the need for design support on a month-to-month basis. 

The organization is seeking week-over-week scheduling consistency (i.e. the same schedule each week), and all hours must be worked between 8am and 5:30pm ET. An ideal schedule would spread hours across three or four days. Otherwise, the employer is prepared to offer as much scheduling flexibility as possible, to structure the assignment around the Graphic Designer's existing Monday - Friday, dayside obligations. 

Under the direction of an experienced Art Director who has been with the organization for more than ten years, the Senior Designer will develop creative concepts and execute designs for a wide variety of online, print and events-oriented marketing and promotional initiatives. 
Many projects will require the design and/or production of social media graphics, Google ads, graphics for use within e-mails and graphics for use within presentations. There will be some need for logo updates and revisions to existing materials, creation of simple charts and tables within InDesign and Illustrator, updating of forms within InDesign and converting them to writeable PDFs, and on occasion there will be a need for modifications of EPS and CAD maps in Illustrator. 

The organization's creative work environment is built around the latest Adobe software – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Bridge – as well as Suitcase Fusion. They use Outlook, Teams and sometimes Zoom for internal communications, and ClickUp as their online project management tool. (Experience using ClickUp is not required.) They also work with the usual variety of Microsoft productivity products – mainly Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

* Demonstrably excellent skill using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
* A portfolio that clearly indicates the depth and breadth of your experience producing marketing and/or advertising-oriented design for a consumer-facing business, non-profit organization or professional services organization.
* Specific portfolio examples that showcase your online ad design experience. 
* Experience creating ads in Google Web Designer a plus, but not required.
* Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in graphic design (2-4 years preferred). 
* Mac proficiency. 
* Some experience working in a professional marketing/design team setting.
* Basic MS office skills.

This is a work-from-home assignment. All work can be done from a home studio or other location of the designer's choosing. The employer will provide a Macbook loaded with necessary software. There will not be a need for any in-person visits to the employer workplace. 

We are seeking well qualified individuals who are interested in the following work situation:  
(1) a temporary role offering at least four months of work,
(2) with a commitment to 20-25 hours/week between April and July,
(3) and then possibly a fluctuating workload continuing through November, 
(4) working from home. 

We would ideally like the pay rate ceiling to be $45/hour. When multiplied by 25 hours/week, this hourly rate generates gross weekly income of $1125. 

We may be able to offer a higher hourly rate to ideally qualified candidates who demonstrate terrific work in their portfolios and whose skills and experience match-up particularly well with the assignment requirements. Alternatively, we might offer a slightly lower rate to a candidate whose credentials suggest s/he will be successful in the role, but who might otherwise be lacking some of the specific experience we're seeking. 

The actual weekly rate offered will be commensurate with your experience and will largely be based on the following factors: credentials as detailed in your resume, your interview experiences with Brainstorm Creative Resources and/or our client, and quality of reference providers and references provided.
