A DC-based creative agency that specializes in producing live interactive experiences, is looking to engage a Creative Director in an assignment that will require a time comittment of up to 40 hours/week through roughly the end of November 2021.
Work on this project will be in suport of a large and highly visible trade association and will be focused on rolling out a mobile tour campaign. The Creative Director will direct strategy; manage a creative team consisting of designers, copywriters and strategists; and manage client communications regarding creative process and work product.
For nearly twenty years we have focused on identifying terrific local vendors and job candidates to support or awesome clients in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC.
Our client is offering work location flexibility for this particular role. We are ideally seeking a Creative Director who lives within a commutable distance of downtown Washington, DC, who appreciates the value of in-person collaboration, and will be actively interested in working on-site at least some of the time.
However, there is no on-site work requirement. This role can be defined as fully remote. Therefore we are also very interested in talking with highly qualified creative leaders who live elsewhere on the east coast or in the Central time zone.
We are seeking well qualified individuals who fit these parameters:
(1) Interested in working 35-40 billable hours each week;
(2) offering a firm commitment to dayside availability similar to a full-time job;
(3) starting in July and continuing through roughly the end of November;
(4) located in the DC-Metro area, on the east coast or in the Central time zone;
(5) ideally offering availability and flexibility to work on-site in DC when necessary;
(6) also offering flexibility to travel to an event site at a location TBD.
Brainstorm Creative Resources strives to pay competitively. For this scope of work we are suggesting a rate range of $85/hour to $125/hour. The broad range reflects our interest in hearing from well qualified individuals who bring an equally broad range of applicable experience.
Creative Directors whose resumes/bios communicate substantial, highly relevant experience and whose portfolios include a great depth and breadth of relevant work, can expect that we will make a strong case to our client, to pay you at or near the top of the range.
The actual rate offered will be commensurate with your experience and will largely be based on the following factors: credentials as detailed in your resume, your portfolio or other example work submitted, your initial interactions with Brainstorm Creative Resources and/or our client, and quality of reference providers and references provided.
Brainstorm Creative Resources is a recruiting and staffing firm that has been focused on placing creative and editorial professionals into freelance and full-time positions with Washington, DC-area employers since 2003.
