Brainstorm Creative Resources is supporting a a strategic communications firm specializing in outreach, education, and awareness campaigns for public health, community development, and human services programs. They are looking to hire a Project Manager into a full-time position. The person who is chosen for this role will be able to decide whether s/he will work fully remotely, completely on-site or a hybrid of the two. Even though work can be done 100% remotely, we are only considering individuals living in Maryland, Virginia or Washington, DC. 

Our client is seeking a Project Manager who will work with their team of designers, writers, developers, and strategists across multiple clients and projects. The Project Manager will lead the team to deliver creative work from marketing campaigns to websites to video production. Guiding the team toward successful implementation while maintaining a strategic focus and staying on top of deadlines and deliverables are crucial for this role. The Creative Project Manager supports the Creative Director/Account Manager to manage client engagements and conform to agency processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
⦁ Take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
⦁ Be the primary liaison between the team and the client, working to maintain healthy client relationships through the course of each project.
⦁ Have a vision and an approach for various creative projects and a thorough understanding of the project goals and the ability to direct accordingly.
⦁ Effectively document workflows, processes, and procedures and train new staff on these things.
⦁ Manage time, cost, and scope of multiple projects (small and large) simultaneously, ensuring the team delivers creative assets within established parameters.
⦁ Develop and coordinate schedules and facilitate planning and scheduling for all project tasks, milestones, and events.
⦁ Facilitate task management for all phases of the design process, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient internal and external communication and collaboration.
⦁ Navigate and plan effective resource management: leveraging team members' strengths where most relevant and clearly articulating and overseeing parameters, deadlines, and expectations around project turnaround and time management.
⦁ Manage the production and scheduling process with external service providers.
⦁ Prepare written progress reports and meet with/present to clients at regular intervals.
⦁ Facilitate internal team meetings and ensuring everyone is on task and on time.
⦁ Facilitate client meetings to review, scope, budget, and milestones.
⦁ Develop and maintain multiple project plans, including deliverables, key milestones, timelines, and schedules.
⦁ Partner with agency account, creative and social/digital teams and key client stakeholders to identify and resolve program issues.
⦁ Diligently work to identify process improvements related to program management.
⦁ Manage execution of internal integrated marketing campaigns and sales activities and assist with proposal development, market research, customer acquisition, and client intake.

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE: 
⦁ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Design Management, or a related discipline.
⦁ At least four years of experience managing strategic communications projects in a similar role (Project Manager, Production Manager, Production Coordinator, Design/Marketing Manager, Art Director, etc.).
⦁ Experience using project management systems and tools, including cloud-based systems.
⦁ Technical understanding of the workflow of creative and marketing projects; strong understanding of the roles and responsibilities within these types of projects—either through hands-on creative experience in writing, design, marketing, or production; or through previous experience working in this environment.
⦁ Experience with marketing and sales coordination.
⦁ Strong oral and written communication skills.
⦁ Ability to create synergy among personalities and resolve conflict and friction that comes with the creative process without allowing it to derail the project.
⦁ HubSpot experience is a plus.

SALARY: 
Based on conversations we have had with our client, Brainstorm Creative Resources is advertising a salary range of $60K to $75K. We realize that we are advertising a broad salary rate range. We are interested in receiving inquiries and applications from demonstrably talented professionals at various places on their individual career paths. 

Brainstorm Creative Resources encourages employers to pay competitively. It is unlikely (but not impossible) that they will offer less experienced applicants the highest advertised salary figure. More experienced applicants can expect that we will make a strong, evidentiary case to our client, to pay you at the top of the salary range. 

The actual rate and/or salary offered will be commensurate with experience and market norms. It will also be based on some or all of the following factors: credentials as detailed in your resume, your portfolio, interview experiences with Brainstorm Creative Resources and our client, and quality of reference providers and references provided.

SUMMARY:
