An educational technology company that partners with top colleges and universities to bring their degree programs online is looking to engage a marketing or creative services professional with specific experience and a sincere interest in resource planning and project management, in an ongoing work-from-home, full-time marketing and creative services project management position. The employer, our client, would like to begin someone in the role right away. 

We are ideally looking to talk with applicants who would like to work 20 - 25 hours/week, but we are also very interested in having conversations with well qualified individuals who would like to work up to 40 hours/week. This is a temporary assignment with a 3 to 6 month timeline. However, there is a possibilty the assignment could be extended beyond six months AND this employer also may be interested in hiring the individual in this role into a full-time position. Our firm has worked closely with the employer over the last two years to help them hire for temporary, temp-to-perm and full-time positions. 
Even though this is a 100% work-from-home role, individuals who would like to be considered must live within 50 miles of the employer's larger hub offices in these locations: Washington, DC; Brookyn, NY; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ or Fort Lauderdale, FL. 

This position is for a professional who already has experience assigning marketing/creative resources professionals to projects based on their skills, experience, and availability. The individual in this role must be proactive and have the ability to keep things moving under pressure and on tight deadlines. This position steps-in and helps project manage creative assets by reallocating resources, adjusting goals or requirements or assigning new people to the project. The Marketing Project Manager should also be able to motivate internal clients to adopt and adhere to resource management best practices. The role requires keen attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability, and sometimes a diplomatic touch. 

The individual in this role manage brand campaigns in collaboration with channel owners (email, social media, website), creative teams (including agencies), and marketing leadership. They will oversee the full campaign lifecycle, including gathering and aligning business objectives with campaign goals, planning brainstorm kickoffs, defining a calendar, project managing asset production and distribution, and reporting on success.

⦁    Overall process and workflow management. 
⦁    Work closely with channel owners, creative teammates, and brand team stakeholders to define campaign assets and roadmap. 
⦁    Run efficient weekly campaign check-in meetings. 
⦁    Manage campaign phase and asset deadlines (today we use a gantt chart), proactively communicating and setting deadlines.
⦁    Update and manage a calendar of campaign asset distribution, including email, social, and website.
⦁    Own and update planning and campaign overview docs.
⦁    No analytics skills needed, but experience pulling together results in a digestible format.

⦁    3-5+ years relevant experience. 
⦁    Strong scheduling skills - able to plan projects both in short and long term, creating work back schedules based on launch dates.
⦁    Process improvement driven person - experience improving processes and behaviors.
⦁    Experience with a variety of content and content-adjacent projects (blog, social, email, website, video, etc.).
⦁    PM tools: Jira/Atlassian are a plus; any tool would work. 
⦁    Soft skills: Able to take initiative, proactive problem solver, strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, able to juggle multiple things at once.

⦁    Experience with Analytics applications
⦁    Content creation skills
This position is open to qualified individuals who are currently living in or have a permanent address within 50 miles of: Washington, DC; Brookyn, NY; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ or Fort Lauderdale, FL. All work can be done remotely (i.e. from your home). You will not need to visit the organization's offices, which are in Maryland. It is worth mentioning that much of the organization's full-time staff works remotely year-round.

Brainstorm Creative Resources strives to pay competitively. For this scope of work we are suggesting a broad rate range of $50/hour to $75/hour. For proper framing it is worth noting that these hourly rates, when annualized, offer income equivalent to salaries ranging from $100K to $150K. The broad rate range reflects our interest in hearing from well qualified individuals who bring an equally broad range of experience. As noted elsewhere in this job description, we are not interested in receiving applications from entry-level professionals. We are looking for highly applicable credentials that demonstrate your relevant experience in the range of "some" to "plenty". 

It is unlikely (but not impossible) that we will be able to pay appropriately qualified early career professionals near the top of the stated rate range. Alternatively, highly experienced professionals whose resumes communicate substantial, relevant experience can expect that we will make a strong case to our client, to pay you near the top of the range. 

The actual rate offered will be commensurate with your experience and will largely be based on the following factors: credentials as detailed in your resume, your portfolio, your interview experiences with Brainstorm Creative Resources and/or our client, and quality of reference providers and references provided.
