As the Company’s energy storage specialist, the incumbent is mandated to develop a storage technology deployment strategy across existing assets and for all new renewable energy generating sites. He or she collaborates with internal (Engineering, Legal, Finance) and external Kruger Energy stakeholders.

Seek out and integrate storage solutions for our energy generating sites;

Develop renewable energy storage projects;

Monitor and analyze developments and business opportunities in the renewal energy stockage sector in Canada and the United States and share the results;

Support and coordinate, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, the preparation of calls for tenders and calls for bidders in connection with energy storage;

Assist with strategic business development planning in the renewable energy storage sector and help implement the plan;

Assess and prepare recommendations for energy storage projects and acquisitions by completing technico-economic analyses during project development or due diligence reviews;and
-
Develop business relations with customers and potential partners in order to improve Kruger Energy’s position in the renewable energy storage market.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Engineering;
-
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or the equivalent;

At least seven (7) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in electric power generation (hydroelectricity, wind or solar);

Self-sufficiency and keen entrepreneurial spirit;

Financial knowledge required;

Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills;

Analytical, thorough; work method and organization;

Available for travel in Canada and the United States;and

Fluent in French and English.
