Kruger’s Brompton Mill is at the very heart of the Company’s new direction that will see it invest more than $107 million in three of its Québec mills that will work in synergy to develop, manufacture and distribute new, innovative and environmentally friendly specialty papers for growth markets worldwide.

Job Description :

Plan, organize, direct and control aspects such as:

  • Actively participate in occupational health and safety prevention
  • Ensure productivity and reliability of equipment according to the maintenance strategy
  • Control the cost elements
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and environmental policies
  • Coordinate and communicate maintenance needs based on priorities and availability of resources
  • Manage equipment shutdown and departure activities
  • Daily monitoring of equipment cleaning and inspection activities
  • Manage the performance of his team and supervise the working methods
  • •ct as an expert to diagnose operational issues and provide leadership in solving them
  • Carry out a role of counselor and facilitator in the realization of mandates in continuous improvement
  • Support the Superintendent in producing weekly and monthly reports
  • Use existing tools including visual controls, 5 S, communication tools and continuous improvement
  • Perform any other mandate given by the Superintendent

Skills

  • Hold a class 1 fixed machine mechanic
  • Have a staff management experience
  • Have a very good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
