Description

Paramit is a rapidly growing international medical device contract design and manufacturing company that designs and manufactures high-quality medical and life sciences instruments. We are seeking a Wave Solder & Wash Machine Operator to join our team.  As our Machine Operator, you will be an integral part of our success!

 

Minimum Soft-Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to lift material and equipment weighing up to 41lbs
  •  Must be able to communicate clearly in English; speaking, writing, and reading
  • Team player with a “Can do” attitude
  • Flexibility to work wherever needed in our manufacturing department
  • As a team member, the ability to work/share in the overtime
  • Ability to work Swing Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday – Friday)
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills

 

Preferred Technical-Skill Requirements:

  • Experience operating the following:  Wave fixtures, Wave Solder Machine, Selective Wave, and Wash Machine
  • Understanding and experience with material handling and workplace safety 
  • Mechanical Skills:  ability to perform machine maintenance/operational repairs
  • Ability to read and interpret documentation packages including department process procedures, BOMs, MPIs, and Drawings
  • Knowledge of how to use Profile Set-up Sheets applied to jobs
  • Knowledge in IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721
