Description

Paramit is a rapidly growing international medical device contract design and manufacturing company that designs and manufactures high-quality medical and life sciences instruments. Headquartered in Morgan Hill, CA, we offer a rewarding work environment with global opportunities while maintaining a small company, employee-focused culture. We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team. 

 

Essential Duties & Core Responsibilities:

  • Performing QA inspection on mechanical assemblies to ensure inspected products meet specifications.
  • Performing and supporting inspection on NPI / Engineering builds.
  • Performing QA inspection utilizing Paramit vPoke inspection software.
  • Conducting Out-of-Box Audit (OBA) by employing AQL on outgoing shipment.
  • Using computer systems such as Manex, Excel, and Spotlight (for defect tracker).
  • Performing Device History Record (DHR) verification before releasing finished medical devices/products to shipping. (6 DHR)
  • Reporting and communicating issues to supervisors and engineers.
  • Supporting daily production schedules in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment.
  • Adhering to ESD, Board Handling, and Safety practices.

 

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Capable of reading and interpreting assembly drawings, specifications, method sheets, BOM, and procedures
  • Basic computer skills (Windows and ERP)
  • 2+  years of experience in First Article, In-Process, FQA Inspection  
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively interface with Production and Engineering
  • Availability to work Swing Shift:   Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Basic computer skills on Defect Tracking Systems.
  • Two years of In-process and/or Final Mechanical QA inspection experience with mechanical/cable assemblies, sheet metal, and plastic fabricated parts.
  • Inspection experience on medical devices and familiarity with cGMP/QSR.
