Paramit is a rapidly growing international medical device contract design and manufacturing company that designs and manufactures high-quality medical and life sciences instruments. Headquartered in Morgan Hill, CA, we offer a rewarding work environment with global opportunities while maintaining a small company, employee-focused culture. We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator/Driver to join our team. 

As our Shipping Coordinator/Driver, you will primarily be working in our Shipping Department, driving only if the primary drivers or other backups need assistance.  As a part of the Shipping Team, you will be loading items properly on the truck, ensuring appropriate forms are completed, labeling packaged components, and packing boxes for shipments of all sizes.  From small PCBAs wrapped, packaged, and boxed according to company guidelines to prepping large-scale systems for crating. 

Should you assist with driving, you are responsible for delivery and pick up of packages to and/or from customer locations. In this role, packages are delivered/picked up in a safe and timely manner.  As a Paramit team member, you may be called up to perform other tasks as needed, including various shipping duties.   To cover the priority times for shipping, delivery, and pickup, this role covers 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday.


Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Clean driving record*
  • Available to work 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
  • “Can-do” attitude; a willingness to support your team/the company with assigned tasks
  • Ability to lift 35lbs regularly and up to 50lbs on occasion
  • Able to work while standing for long periods of time, bend, twist, kneel, squat, and walk while carrying boxes as required to complete tasks

*As a part of the application process for this role, you will need to provide a copy of your clean driving record.  


Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous shipping, package handling, product packing experience
  • Experience driving a “Box Truck”
  • Package delivery experience
  • Availability and ability to work overtime, as needed to support your team
