The primary responsibility of the Clinical Lab Technician is to assist pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical processes associated with specimen processing and test performance under the supervision and control of licensed individuals in the clinical laboratory. This may include receiving specimens, ensuring accurate entry into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and /or preparing samples for testing and analysis. The schedule for this position will be Sunday - Thursday from 12:00pm - 8:30pm. The Clinical Lab Technician is knowledgeable with, and is a resource for others within the laboratory, the use of equipment, databases, and software applications. Maintains flexibility with regard to work schedule including section assignment, daily work shift and days of the week as determined by business need. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The Clinical Lab Technician II functions as a team lead, providing guidance, resources and helps the supervisor coordinate workflows within the department.

What We Can Offer You The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in our San Diego office is $25.50 - $35.00 hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several objective factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation and Benefits Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
