SUMMARY

Financial Finesse is looking for a Head of Corporate Sales with innate problem-solving and strategic thinking skills that will enable them to work with HR executives at Fortune 1000 companies and to sell large-scale, customized workplace financial wellness programs. In addition to direct sales efforts, we are also looking for this individual to build meaningful and productive relationships with consultants, advisors and other distributors that are influential in the large corporate market.

We are B2B2C.  For employers, our customized programs integrate sponsored benefits and retirement plans, enhance utilization, reduce related expenses and risks, and improve employee engagement and productivity.  Individual employees have access to our elite team of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals through multiple channels and to our proprietary, open-architecture Virtual Financial Coach. Completely unbiased, with no sales pitch, our team of Financial Planners work with people from every financial situation on various matters from debt and budgeting to retirement and estate planning.  Not only is free access to an unbiased Financial Planner a unique service, but we have proven behavior-changing results that have a positive impact on people’s lives.

The Head of Corporate Sales position is based remotely, with frequent travel for internal meetings, sales opportunities, conferences, etc. expected


RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Initiate new and strategic sales targeting large-sized accounts. (8,000 employees and up).
•    Attend industry conferences and networking events with the goal of building relationships and expanding thinking around Financial Wellness.
•    Increase awareness of our product by cultivating relationships within the industry. Build and maintain a network of senior-level HR executives and other key stakeholders.
•    Source leads from various channels, including direct leads, referrals, and benefits consultants. Identify opportunities to expand existing channels.
•    Ask questions to understand the prospect’s buying process including needs/goals, budget, timeline, building relationships with decision-makers, champions, and influencers.
•    Present and demonstrate solutions to prospective clients. 
•    Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally to ensure internal teams effectively support the sales function.
•    Initially managing Head of Sales Operations and Head of Sales Strategy, adding new team members as needed in the future.
 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Financial Wellness, benefits, or related services, selling to Fortune 1000 companies and consultants.
  • A self-motivated, driven individual who is goal-oriented and able to take ownership of assigned industries to develop strong, long-term relationships.
  • Must be a self-starter, imaginative, and persuasive, with excellent communication skills and demonstrated success in sales.
  • Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally within an organization, with limited guidance. 
  • Existing network in HR & employee benefits industry highly preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The total compensation ranges from $200,000-$350,000 including base salary, bonuses and commissions. Additional financial opportunities exist through cash-based profit sharing and through equity plans. We offer a full comprehensive benefits package and 401k matching.
