Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis. You will work closely with the Creative Director and Product Team to transform design concepts into polished, high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes. This role requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of extending into a long-term position. Pay will be $35-$45 per hour depending on portfolio and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Creative Director and Product Team to create high-fidelity wireframes in Figma based on low-fidelity wireframes and design requirements.
Design wireframe prototypes for sales demonstrations and development handoff.
Write clear, detailed annotations for designs to ensure smooth communication with the development team.
Stay up to date with current design trends, tools, and industry standards to ensure designs are modern and innovative.
Be available on demand each week to meet project needs and timelines.
Support ongoing product design tasks and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and UX best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
Expertise in Figma, including creating high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes.
Ability to translate low-fidelity designs into high-quality visual representations.
Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing detailed design annotations.
Ability to stay updated on the latest design trends and incorporate them into your work.
Availability to work on demand each week to meet project deadlines.
Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a financial services or wellness industry.
Familiarity with creating designs for sales or development purposes.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Ability to code is a nice to have.
Video editing is a nice to have (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects)
