Position Overview: 
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis. You will work closely with the Creative Director and Product Team to transform design concepts into polished, high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes. This role requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of extending into a long-term position. Pay will be $35-$45 per hour depending on portfolio and experience.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Product Team to create high-fidelity wireframes in Figma based on low-fidelity wireframes and design requirements. 

  • Design wireframe prototypes for sales demonstrations and development handoff. 

  • Write clear, detailed annotations for designs to ensure smooth communication with the development team. 

  • Stay up to date with current design trends, tools, and industry standards to ensure designs are modern and innovative. 

  • Be available on demand each week to meet project needs and timelines. 

  • Support ongoing product design tasks and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and UX best practices. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills. 

  • Expertise in Figma, including creating high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes. 

  • Ability to translate low-fidelity designs into high-quality visual representations. 

  • Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices. 

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing detailed design annotations. 

  • Ability to stay updated on the latest design trends and incorporate them into your work. 

  • Availability to work on demand each week to meet project deadlines. 

  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in a financial services or wellness industry. 

  • Familiarity with creating designs for sales or development purposes. 

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude. 

  • Ability to code is a nice to have. 

  • Video editing is a nice to have (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects)
