DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT
SUMMARY
At Financial Finesse, we change financial lives at scale by providing 100% unbiased financial wellness coaching as an employee benefit. Our business model is B2B2C, meaning that our clients are generally large employers, and our users are their employees.
Financial Finesse is looking for a Director of Digital Engagement who is an expert at driving utilization and engagement among end users (specifically, our clients’ employees). We work with some of the world’s best-known companies (from CVS Health to Nestlé to the NFL Players Association). Their employees are our number one priority – and that’s where you come in! With a heavy focus on digital and email marketing, you will develop messaging, campaigns and automations that encourage engagement with existing users and help to pull users back who have dropped off. The ideal candidate will have: the ability to build and drive robust marketing plans across multiple platforms; a passion for innovation and digital trends; a secret (or professed) love for testing and analytics; and a mission-based heart to change the world. Experience or special interest in the financial wellness industry is a plus!
You’ll report to the Chief Product Officer and work closely with the Marketing, Client Success, Consulting (Sales), Tech and Design teams. The Director of Digital Engagement position is based remotely, with some meetings required in our headquarter office in El Segundo, CA and elsewhere.
What you’ll do and the impact you’ll make
The Director of Digital Engagement position, simply stated, focuses on getting our users to come back over and over again. You’ll work closely with the Product and Tech teams to continuously improve our digital marketing and online experience, with the goal of making engagement so personalized that it can engage any user in the way that works best for them. Ultimately, the financial wellness content you deliver will result in tangible, positive changes to each user’s financial life. With your deep experience, you will play a pivotal role in the overall engagement strategy for our market-leading corporate Financial Wellness programs.
Strategy development
Drive our digital engagement strategy by proactively identifying opportunities to employ proven frameworks and innovative solutions to delight our users and grow our business.
Plan and execute a digital engagement marketing road map focused on getting users to make positive, behavioral changes, repeatedly. We don’t want users to quit after one win, we need them coming back to close out action plans and get them on their way to total financial wellness.
Lead cross-functional teams who will help you meet engagement objectives: Client Success, Product, Sales, and Technology.
Innovation and insight
Develop compelling automations to drive repeat usage among our users. Includes:
Partner with Marketing and Content teams to turn creative ideas and new campaigns.
Explore and test new strategies for reaching users in more compelling ways by leveraging new channels and new media types.
Testing, measuring and constantly refining to improve content performance, process efficiency, and end-user impact.
Advise Tech Team and Client Success on strategic considerations and best practices for building proactive, effective automations, nudges, and alerts.
Present recommendations directly to Executive Team.
Managing end user engagement programs
Expand and enhance our suite of ActiveCampaign automations, which reach hundreds of thousands of users, and maintain the highest possible quality.
Drive personalization, so that each user receives messages that are relevant to their circumstances, needs, and goals.
Monitor deliverability and account reputation in-line with CAN-SPAM & GDPR regulations.
Analysis & Reporting
Work with the Product team to enhance engagement analytics and reporting.
Pull data from all available sources and generate insights to maximize learning and guide the digital engagement program.
Design and implement tests that support key hypotheses and deliver measurable and impactful takeaways for business growth.
What you bring
