Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Program Control Analysis, Team Lead to support our Corporate Service Center (CSC) in Tyson's Corner, VA. The position requires attention to detail, initiative, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to function independently with minimal supervision, and strong organization and data analysis skills.  This position will be responsible for Financial Analysis in support of CSC initiatives and oversee the Accounts Receivable process.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with 1 day on-site per week and quarterly visits to our Southern Maryland office location. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

In support of the Program Control Function responsibilities include:

• Oversee Project and Sector financial procedural & ad hoc reporting
• All subcontractor coding form entry
• All contract reviews and setup approvals for Costpoint entry
• Executive leadership reporting - Interim Progress Reviews (IPR)
• Budget and Planning Module - entry and analysis
• Track percentage complete and notify sector VP and Contracts Manager (CM) of needed funding 
• Monitor and track At-Risk funding; Report At-Risk status to sector VP and CM
• Look for areas for continuous improvement and lead implementations
• Participate in special projects as required

In your role overseeing the Accounts Receivable Function:

• Review/approve all sector's PCA project invoices
• Collection management - review CP notes are up to date (weekly)
• Review and assist billers with unbilled reconciliations (revenue adjustments or invoice posting)
• Evaluate and communicate billing staffing/workload to Program Control Manager
• Act as delegate for Project Control and Billing colleagues if they are unavailable or out-of-office
• Report need-to-know billing conflicts and successes to Program Control Manager
• Department developmental research and execution

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum of experience in government and/or commercial contracting environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of service type cost reimbursable, fixed price and commercial contracts
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently, assess priorities, and manage a variety of activities, and have a clear devotion to meeting project deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Strong Excel skills are desired strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interface with internal clients and company management

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Costpoint & Cognos is highly desired
• Experience with Costpoint Budget & Planning is highly desired
• Report Writing in Business Intelligence

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience in a related field

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
