Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator provides administrative and customer service support to the following Field Operations Management teams, ISP, OSP, Splicing and Technical Services.
Job Responsibilities
- Initiate customer contact regarding order acknowledgment, scheduling and completion
- Coordinate site access and confirmation schedule with customer point of contact
- Assist Project Manager with acquiring subcontractors and temporary manpower, as needed
- Coordinate equipment and vehicle rentals for projects, as needed
- Submit start work notifications to the municipalities, request traffic control and track permits
- Print new project documents and assemble new field job folders, following checklist provided
- Download cable test equipment and save files to digital folders
- File all project documents appropriately
- Assist with any document scanning and filing pertaining to project close-out
Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three years of administrative customer service experience required
- Experience in construction or telecommunication industry preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs and priorities
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
