Position Summary 

The Operations Coordinator provides administrative and customer service support to the following Field Operations Management teams, ISP, OSP, Splicing and Technical Services. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Initiate customer contact regarding order acknowledgment, scheduling and completion
  • Coordinate site access and confirmation schedule with customer point of contact 
  • Assist Project Manager with acquiring subcontractors and temporary manpower, as needed
  • Coordinate equipment and vehicle rentals for projects, as needed
  • Submit start work notifications to the municipalities, request traffic control and track permits
  • Print new project documents and assemble new field job folders, following checklist provided
  • Download cable test equipment and save files to digital folders
  • File all project documents appropriately
  • Assist with any document scanning and filing pertaining to project close-out
  • Other duties as assigned 

     

     

Education/Experience/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three years of administrative customer service experience required
  • Experience in construction or telecommunication industry preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs and priorities
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
