Our client, the world’s leading entertainment streaming service, is looking for a Casting Coordinator.

  

This is an onsite, 5-month contract. You need to be located in Los Angeles, CA, and have no H1B Visa status. The hourly rate is up to $65.00 per hour. We offer medical and dental benefits and paid sick days as needed. There is no C2C.

 

DEEP DEVELOPMENT / GREEN LIT / PACKAGING:

  • Make all actor and casting director lists
    • Curate lists based on genre, budget, etc.
  • Create slides, pictures, mosaics as needed for all projects


PRE PRODUCTION:

  • Casting Director Onboarding:
    • Send out the casting manual to CDs (including local CDs) at the start of each casting period
  • Oversee the following to ensure Casting Directors are following all SAG and Client's guidelines:
    • Approve all breakdowns & sides; facilitate with Legal or D&I if needed
    • Control workflow of the approval process for all speaking roles
  • Track speaking roles to ensure cast represents the diverse world we live in
  • Set up Casting Directors in Cast It and track all uploaded auditions
  • Ensure a master list for all lead roles are received at the end of production
  • Track external casting deal terms (weeks, rates, office allowance, etc.)
  • Maintain the Casting Approval grid - keep track of all speaking roles in all films to avoid casting collisions with Series, Animation, Unscripted teams.
  • Organize in-house sessions and chemistry reads with filmmakers

PRODUCTION:

  • Watch dallies - keep a close eye on performances, chemistry, or any new additional roles added without our knowledge
  • Oversee any additional roles that are added during AP


COMPLETED PROJECTS:

  • Organize and track all documents received for projects - lists, session sheets, etc.
  • Retain final cast lists for all projects


DEPARTMENT NEEDS:

  • Maintain the Casting Bible - keep track of all projects in every development stage
  • Attend annual college actor showcases
  • Maintain and organize Qwire
  • Take General meetings with actors
  • Track talent attachments at other studios
  • Maintain and manage relationships with casting leads
