Our client, a global financial service and digital payments company, is seeking a Technical Program Manager. 

This position is a remote 5-month contract with the possibility of extension beyond 6 months. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without requiring H1B visa sponsorship. The hourly rate is $56.55, W2 + paid holidays through Talent Table. NO C2C.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead data center decommissioning efforts, ensuring safe and efficient shutdown and removal of hardware.
• Manage the launch of new data centers, coordinating logistics, equipment deployment, and configuration.
• Oversee P2 retirement projects by planning and managing the transfer of services and decommissioning of relevant infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to align on project goals and timelines.
• Implement comprehensive reporting on project progress, identify risks, and define mitigation strategies to ensure milestones are met on time.
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders, providing transparency on project health and addressing any issues promptly.
• 100% Remote.

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role within or adjacent to data center operations.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (specifically in infrastructure domains) to achieve project objectives.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• 4-year degree in CS or a similar domain.
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role within or adjacent to data center operations.
