Our client, the world’s leading entertainment streaming service, is looking for a Publicity Coordinator.

This is a 6-month, on-site contract position based in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Candidates must be located in the Los Angeles area and must be able to work onsite in Hollywood. The hourly rate is $33.65; benefits are available through Talent Table. No C2C, no H1Bs.

The Role 

The Publicity Coordinator will play a key role in supporting team members and executing campaign publicity efforts across multiple local-language original films and series (our international slate). Ideal candidates will have a foundational understanding of the entertainment landscape and a strong passion for entertainment publicity.

The Coordinator is a collaborative team player, exercises sound judgment, is self-motivated, passionate, proactive, resourceful, and flexible, and can juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities across various initiatives simultaneously. They possess an exceptional eye for organization, attention to detail, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions even when faced with ambiguity.

This demanding and fast-paced position requires someone with a positive attitude, who takes initiative, effectively prioritizes tasks, and is a strong and clear communicator.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
 

  • Update and maintain various lists, documents, and charts on the department’s Google Drive.
  • Create and manage talent itineraries, book and oversee all aspects of talent travel, and troubleshoot as needed to ensure smooth execution.
  • Track and update title-related information in a timely manner, including news announcement calendars, timelines, press coverage, and press notes.
  • Negotiate glam rates and coordinate with agencies to ensure timely payments.
  • Support junkets, premieres, and press day activities, including car and glam coordination, day-of logistics, screenings, and select talent handling duties.
  • Maintain title budgets, track and submit payments, balance title funds, and submit POs.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to track contracts and ensure timely payments; create and submit SOWs, contracts, and PO schedules; onboard new vendors as needed.
  • Distribute campaign assets and publicity materials to press and talent, including press blasts.
  • Assign early access screeners on PIX and Media Center and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Update film information across internal databases and the external-facing Media Center.
  • Assist with scheduling and facilitating meetings, including securing conference rooms, preparing agendas and presentations, and coordinating A/V needs.
  • Compile and distribute press breaks to communicate with showrunners, filmmakers, and talent about breaking press coverage.
  • Contribute to internal workflow innovation beyond campaign-specific tasks.
     

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1–2 years of experience in publicity or communications within the entertainment industry (studio, network, agency, brand, or similar).
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, to accommodate global teams and campaign needs.
  • A strong interest in the entertainment industry and eagerness to learn the business.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with a willingness to share ideas and collaborate.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness.
  • Confidence in multitasking and managing competing priorities, while knowing when to seek support.
  • A growth mindset, eager to learn and improve, and interested in mastering the fundamentals of a successful publicity campaign.
  • Composure under pressure, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Self-awareness and openness to feedback, with a proactive approach to personal and team development.
  • A commitment to embodying and promoting company values daily.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus, though not required, given the global nature of the projects.
