Our client, a financial services and digital payments company, is seeking a Business Operations Specialist.
This position is a remote 12-month contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA, without requiring H-1B visa sponsorship. The hourly rate is $39.31, W2 + paid holidays through Talent Table. No Corp-to-Corp.
This position is for a candidate with a budget management background and has worked with a large company preferably global. You must have expertise with data analytics, budget reconciliation, and budget optimization.
You Will:
- Be a key cross-functional partner to the Global Marketing team, helping to manage the overall budget and coordinate best practices with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Communicate with partners on marketing operating expenses and their payment statuses, solicit feedback from partners to ensure continuous commitment to plans, and ensure understanding of actual spend and our goals, risks, and opportunities within the budget to ensure successful delivery of the company’s growth plans.
- You are an expert with spreadsheets and an enthusiastic partner to stakeholders who may be less fluent in budget operations and financial data. This role is eligible to work remotely.
- Partner with Global Marketing stakeholders to oversee execution of budget plans through purchase order creation and management of invoices and accruals.
- Reconcile budget plans and actual spend through disparate datasets and develop reporting to ensure execution and manage risk across the organization.
- Manage billing transactions, vendor communications, and month-end close in lockstep with Accounting.
- Work with the Global Marketing team to define and update processes as our client continues to grow and evolve the business.
- Onboard key vendors and partners and facilitate relationships with Procurement on behalf of the Marketing team.
- Identify and define new opportunities, key initiatives, and operational gaps, and take those on as strategic projects.
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in an operational role, ideally in Marketing.
- Experience partnering with Accounting and Finance teams and managing budgets.
- Desire to connect with a scaled, global team of cross-functional stakeholders spanning every level of the Marketing organization.
- A positive and proactive attitude when taking on complex questions and new projects.
- Comfort troubleshooting technical questions with Finance and Accounting.
- A hunger to solve problems and scale operations through new and creative ways.
- Bachelor’s degree
