Senior Project Manager
21Tech is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our company. Location
The candidate will work in a remote capacity, with travel from 15-50% depending on the project. The company may change work location as it deems necessary.
Job Description:
● Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
● Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
● Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
● Drive path forward on projects by acting as liaison between client and 21Tech project teams providing clarity, strategy, and direction on business process and functional solutions.
● Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
● Management of scope, issues, risks, budget and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
● Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and facilitate the project team meetings.
● Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team.
● Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
● Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques.
Requirements:
● 8+ years of technology-related project management experience involving software implementation and/or upgrades.
● Ability to lead large and complex projects (multi-year and over $5 Million in services revenue).
● Intermediate or better experience level in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall.
● Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills, including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
● Successfully managed project teams with 5-10 resources.
● Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, and achieve objectives.
● Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
● Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary.
● Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and Microsoft Project.
● Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
Education:
● BA/BS in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
● PMP Certification not required, but preferred
● 3+ years of technology-related consulting experience in Asset Management solutions is advantageous and can strengthen a candidate’s competitiveness for the role
