AgenTus Therapeutics is a dynamic new start-up subsidiary developing T cell receptors (TCRs) and chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) designed to supercharge human immune effector cells to seek and destroy cancer. We aim to deliver cures to cancer patients around the world by leveraging our proprietary platforms for TCR discovery, targeting novel phosphopeptide neo-epitopes and developing unique allogeneic cell therapies. Together with our parent company, Agenus, we have a deep and diverse repertoire of immunotherapy treatments that can be used in combinations that will synergize to help the body’s immune system fight cancer.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our growing team at AgenTus. This highly collaborative role will report to the COO and will have direct oversight of multiple complex, high priority projects as we move into the next phase of our organizational growth. Projects will include existing clinical trials, preclinical studies to support future trials and manufacturing and supply chains.

 

Responsibilities: About the Role

  • Develop, communicate and update project plans, including scope, schedule, budget and risk management
  • Lead project planning sessions and project team meetings
  • Manage project team members across multiple sites to optimize project success
  • Manage internal & external partners and suppliers
  • Monitor project progress and adapt project plans as needed
  • Assist in the development, execution and monitoring of project contracts
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Manage program budget
  • Seek opportunities to optimize and improve processes
  • Ensure effective level of communication within program team and among stakeholders
  • Conduct periodic project review and provide reports to senior management and other stakeholders as needed.

 

Qualifications: About You

  • BSc/MSc in scientific and/or drug development related discipline
  • 4 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience with program management experience preferred
  • PMP or other project management certification/qualification preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team leader
  • Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • High proficiency with MS Office and data sharing platforms required for effective project management
  • Ability to manage various project elements simultaneously
  • Experience in cell therapy a plus
