As an Advisory Manager, you will oversee a team delivering A-123 work and the day-to-day will include:

  • Managing and directing multiple workgroups in a way that effectively delivers results to the government.
  • Independently defining measurable outcomes that advance the agency’s internal control goals and direction.
  • Oversight of all aspects of A-123 requirements including planning out project tasks, conducting risk assessments, preparation of cycle memos, development of test plans and performing internal control testing, and development of findings and reports.
  • Assisting client in preparation of fraud risk assessment.
  • Assisting client in updating policies and procedures.
  • Leading client presentations and briefings to assist clients to improve internal controls.
  • Leading and participating in required proposal and capture to achieve business development goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related-field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in financial/accounting operations, internal controls, audit remediation and conducting internal control assessments, risk assessments, entity level control assessments and verification and validation (V&V) of corrective action plans.
  • Experience in all OMB Circular A-123 appendices, including managing multiple A-123 workstreams simultaneously.
  • Exceptional client service and oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • CPA or CGFM required.
  • Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required).
