We are seeking an A-123 Staff Consultant to provide OMB Circular A-123 support to our Federal client. This individual will be part of a direct team of three individuals supporting the client’s A-123 program as well as Castro’s overall team of 10+ individuals that provide a variety of Federal financial management services to the overall client.

 
What you will do in this role:

• Focus on Improper payments and Internal controls over financial reporting.
• Provide support completing Appendix C improper payment testing.
• Perform Appendix A internal control testing as directed by management.
• Draft summaries of deficiencies and corrective action plans.
• Perform a variety of different analytical tasks.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related business field from an accredited University.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 1 year of experience related to internal controls generally obtained through OMB Circular A-123 Appendices A and C, Sarbanes-Oxley, or Financial Statement Audit preferred but not required.
• Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required)
