We are seeking an Audit Remediation Manager to join our advisory practice to supervise and mentor staff members while being the subject matter specialist in all areas of Financial Statement Audits. As an Audit Remediation Manager, your duties for our Federal Government client will include but not be limited to the following:
You will be supporting a Federal client by improving the quality of the agency’s financial management processes. Working directly with senior leadership across the agency to remediate current audit findings, strengthen internal controls, improve financial reporting, and enhance financial policies. Comprehensive financial management services have included activities such as providing subject matter expertise to assist with data analysis and cleanup; performing regular monitoring and reviews of obligations, accruals, and prior year recoveries; developing user guides, SOPs, checklists and other financial management tools; testing and design of internal controls; managing audit remediation activities via corrective action plans; providing expert audit liaison advice, and more.
