Content Manager



Financial Finesse is headquartered in El Segundo, CA.  We would prefer someone that could be based in the Los Angeles area but are open to the person in this position to work remotely.

We are seeking a strong team player to drive content production and management across our company. A successful candidate has strong writing and analytical skills, prioritizes and manages multiple tasks at once, has a strong desire to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.


  • Develop, coordinate, and manage all content needs, creation, organization, and processes across all content streams within the company including articles, workshop curriculum, blogs, social media, marketing support resources, templates, web content, and more
  • Organize and manage a highly-structured content library to create efficiency and reduce redundancies
  • Maintain brand standards, brand voice, and writing style guidelines
  • Collaborate on ideation of content projects with multiple teams to support initiatives such as driving traffic, increasing company thought leadership, and supporting end-user needs
  • Support strategic company initiatives by helping to develop content strategy plans
  • Manage and communicate with those assigned to your projects by delegating assignments/tasks, time management, and elevating the quality of their writing
  • Manage and build social media platforms, working with various teams to staying on top of current events within the company and in the media
  • Maintain monthly reports on how content is performing, lead efforts to improve existing content and develop new content ideas for the future
  • Manage a content marketing budget
  • Recognize potential issues and problems and know when to escalate and propose solutions where possible
  • Promote a culture of innovation and teamwork


Financial Knowledge & Passion

  • Passion for financial wellness, with a high level of baseline knowledge and desire to continue learning
  • Ability to understand and adapt to Financial Finesse’s brand voice, and coach others on using it
  • Ability to identify opportunities to be a leader in financial wellness content
  • Follows financial wellness industry and financial wellness blogs


Skills & Experience

  • Fantastic copywriter with experience or special interest in the financial wellness industry
  • Able to write exciting content that inspires action
  • Project management experience, ability to scope, lead, and coordinate 
  • Ability to manage and continuously improve our content development process
  • Relentless fact-checker 
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills, including ability to set content calendar to prioritize and manage evolving deadlines
  • Comfortable navigating unfamiliar technology systems
  • High level of business judgement, ability to operate in the gray, assess risk vs. reward
  • Experience in UI/UX writing and editing preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Journalism or related fields
  • 5-7 years of content strategy/content management experience

The total compensation for the Content Manager position ranges approximately from $75,000 to $103,000, including an $75,000 base salary and a comprehensive quarterly and annual bonus program.  Additional opportunities exist to participate in the success of the business through cash and equity-based programs.  Our full benefit package includes employer paid medical, dental, vision, and life, HSA and FSA options, a 401(k) with immediate vesting, employee discount programs, a flexible work environment, and (of course!) best-in-class financial wellness resources for employees, friends and family.
