Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks an Internal Control, Associate (Auditor) with knowledge of the DCAA audit process to support MIL in responding to requests for audit by the Federal government. This position can be remote. 

Responsibilities

  • Serves as project manager and primary point of contact for all government audits. Organizes, directs, monitors, and evaluates all requests by government auditors
  • Review, coordinate, and respond to Provide by Client (PBC) list and all requested sample sets with proper supporting documentation
  • Respond to all government audits (PBCs, walkthroughs, samples, SOCARs). Review all supporting documentation prior to submitting to auditors
  • Coordinate audit meetings and answer any questions from audit findings/pending requests
  • Assist with corrective actions, process improvements, fraud indicators, risk management, and implementation of proper controls
  • Excellent knowledge of the DCAA audit process to include interviews, process narratives, and flows, control matrices, test plans, test results, statistical sampling, data analysis, reports of results and other related documentation
  • Review and analyze internal control review and audit results to advise company on finding resolution and process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Accounting or other related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in audit readiness, remediation, internal controls, and other relevant audit function
  • Previous employment with DCAA
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.

Desired Qualifications

  • CGFM, CIA, or CPA certification
