Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Operations, Senior Analyst that will serve as a Shipboard Safety Manager/OSIC-Assistant supporting a Federal Government client in San Diego, CA.  The Safety Manager will be on watch for safety violations during the entire production duration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop safety process
  • Provide enhanced oversight of all safety processes / procedures in order to ensure full regulatory compliance, including OSHA and local shipyard standards
  • Assist in remaining ahead of routine safety inspection activities.
  • Support On-Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC), as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Shipboard experience
  • Be a fully trained / qualified Safety Representative
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination

Desired Qualifications

  • Senior Enlisted Navy experience
  • OSHA 10-hr Maritime certification

Education

HS Diploma or equivalent

Clearance
