The MIL Corporation seeks a Financial Analysis, Analyst to support a Federal government client at our Charleston, SC location.
Perform financial analyses utilizing a variety of analytic tools including MS Office products
Support financial troubleshooting functions
Review and analyze internal control review and audit results to advise client on finding resolution and process improvements
Assist with preparation and/or review of internal and external financial audits
Create and maintain quality work instructions
Assist with corrective actions, process improvements, fraud indicators, risk management, and implementation of proper controls
Focus on continuous process improvement
3 years of relevant experience
Great attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Ability to be flexible in a demanding work environment
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Federal budgetary principles, concepts, regulations, practices and procedures
Federal financial management experience
Federal accounting knowledge
Experience with ISSO 9001
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
BA/BS or relevant experience
