Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Reliability/Maintainability Analyst (Logistics) to support a Federal Government client in Lexington Park, MD. The Reliability/Maintainability Analyst will review system documentation, perform various analyses, and provide recommendations.  

Responsibilities

  • Review system documentation
  • Perform failure, reliability, maintainability and other analyses
  • Develop reports and provide recommendations 

Travel

Minimal travel required

Required Qualifications

  • Experience performing Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) analysis  
  • Familiarity with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)   
  • Experience performing:  
    • Sustainment reviews
    • Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
    • Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
    • Risk/criticality assessment
    • Preventive maintenance analysis
    • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
    • Sparing analysis  
  • Ability to use Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)   
  • Good organizational skills.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to work well in team environments.  

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with:
    • DOD Instruction 4140.01
    • Life-Cycle Cost Analysis
    • System/subsystem reliability design  

Education

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business or technical discipline or qualifying additional years’ experience that can substitute for a degree  

Clearance

All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; please note that the clearance process considers financial background aspects.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $60,000 - $120,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.   

Levels: Junior Analyst, Analyst, Senior Analyst, Associate, Senior Associate

The level will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
