Summary
The MIL Corporation is looking for Telecommunications Engineering Technicians (Junior and Journeyman Levels) to support the installation of Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) telecommunications cabling and related cabling infrastructure. These roles support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD location.
Responsibilities
Travel
Candidates must be willing to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites up to three weeks at a time. Total travel is approximately 50-75%.

Education
A high school diploma or equivalent
Clearance
All applicants for this position must possess an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret/SCI clearance; please note that the clearance process considers financial background aspects.
Compensation
The SCA (Service Contract Act) role at The MIL Corporation is subject to the regulations and guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Labor. As an SCA position, it is classified as a service contract and is subject to specific wage determinations and benefit requirements mandated by the government.
The compensation and benefits for the SCA role at The MIL Corporation will be in accordance with the prevailing wage rates and benefits specified by the Department of Labor for the specific job classification and location.
The current rates are:
Engineering Technician I $22.92 per hour
Engineering Technician II $25.72 per hour
Engineering Technician III $28.79 per hour
Telecommunications Mechanic I $29.95 per hour
Telecommunications Mechanic II $31.55 per hour
Candidates’ level will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
