Speech-Language Clinical Fellowship - Fall Mentorship Program

New York Therapy is seeking Clinical Fellowship candidates who have a passion for working with children, families and therapists!  Our cohort of Clinical Fellows will consist of a final selection of dynamic, dedicated and diverse individuals. We pride ourselves in being selective to ensure each CF receives the highest quality of supervision and mentoring through training, support and ongoing peer interaction.

Under a well-established CFY mentorship program, our goal is to render a highly beneficial experience, ensuring the CF's readiness for a successful career as an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist.


Position Summary:

Under the supervision of an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, our Clinical Fellows’ will experience a balance of personal attention and quality mentoring to develop their clinical skills. The dynamic supervisory model we have in place fosters a reciprocal working alliance between supervisor and supervisee, leading to positive career decisions and employment opportunities. The CF experience includes regular observations and frequent opportunities to collaborate with supervisors and other Clinical Fellows. We are committed to providing an outstanding Clinical Fellow Year to new therapists.​



  • Provide ongoing treatment services and perform assessments/diagnostic evaluations to Preschool and/or School-Age children with developmental delays and/or disabilities
  • Perform services in diverse settings such as preschools, public and private schools and home settings.
  • Family consultation
  • Receive mentoring and training in all areas of clinical practice, including: implementation of IEP goals, effective treatment of specific speech and language disorders, management of diagnosis and treatment plan, writing reports and session notes, conducting screening, assessment and diagnostics 
  • Participate in direct and indirect supervision activities under your mentor

Opportunities are available based upon geographical preferences within the 5 boroughs of New York. Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx and Staten Island



  • TSLD required
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Appropriate academic credentials for New York State licensure required
  • NYCDOE Fingerprinting 
  • For CFYs looking to render bilingual services, a Bilingual Extension is required (or passing score on BEA proficiency exam) 
  • Must be motivated and have a strong work ethic
