ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understanding sales terms and functions
Entering orders received from our local direct clients, Integrated Marketing Specialists and agencies
Monitoring and helping to execute all local direct and agency campaigns
Processing make-goods and exceptions for local direct and agency orders which will in many cases entail working closely with the traffic department
Communicating regularly with our Integrated Marketing Specialist and agencies via email and phone
Engaging with and monitoring the Wide orbit order system
Training and mentoring new hire sales assistants
Assisting Integrated Marketing Specialists on sales calls
Monitoring and cleaning the customer relations management tool used by the sales department
Creating presentations, sales kits and recaps primarily for use
Participating in local market sales, promotions, and programming meetings as requested.
Managing Sales Pending Reports on an ongoing basis
Providing clerical support including filing of contracts
Assisting with promotions such as remotes and events
Entering digital orders and digital components into WideOrbit or similar system
Assisting with receptionist desk duties when needed
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Flexible schedule, with the ability and willingness to work varied hours on the weekdays, and weekends
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction
Excellent communication skills
Can work well independently and as an integral part of the team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint presentations and Excel
Graphic Design experience is preferred
Familiarity with Canva is strongly preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma. College preferred but not required.
