Hamilton Island’s Spa and Wellness Division offers world-class treatments and experiences across luxury spas, hair and beauty services, and broader wellness offerings. We are now seeking a highly experienced Spa and Wellness Manager to lead these diverse teams, drive innovation, and ensure operational and strategic excellence across all spa, salon, and wellness services.

Your Role

As the Spa and Wellness Manager, you will take responsibility for the operational and strategic success of Hamilton Island’s Spa, Wellness, Hair, and Beauty services. You’ll lead and mentor multiple teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences, while ensuring innovation, compliance, financial performance, and staff development are consistently achieved.

Where you’ll make an impact

• Identify and implement emerging wellness trends to expand and enhance offerings
• Drive spa and wellness innovation across treatments, products, and service delivery
• Oversee operational excellence, including bookings, rostering, stock, and compliance
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on pricing, packaging, and promotions
• Deliver financial oversight, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
• Lead and inspire a large, diverse team through training, coaching, and recognition
• Champion guest satisfaction through robust service standards and escalation pathways
• Foster a workplace culture that reflects Hamilton Island’s core values

What we’re looking for

You are a senior industry professional with extensive experience leading in spa, beauty, or wellness operations. With strong commercial acumen, creativity, and leadership skills, you thrive in balancing guest satisfaction with strategic and financial success.

To be successful, you will need:

• Diploma of Beauty Therapy or Remedial Massage (Essential)
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field (Desired)
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in the spa, beauty, or wellness industry (Essential)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (Essential)
• QLD open/unrestricted driver’s licence (Essential)
• Strong leadership, financial, and communication skills
• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement across multi-site operations
